From the Principal's Desk

Greetings from the Principal, BLDEA’s SSM College of Pharmacy and Research Centre, Vijayapur. Karnataka.

It fills me with great pride to serve as the Principal of this esteemed institute, and I consider it a privilege to work alongside our dedicated staff members and talented students, with the shared goal of transforming our college into one of the most renowned pharmacy institutions in our country.

As a testament to our well-equipped facilities, spacious classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories and faculty, our Ph.D. M. Pharm., Pharm. D., along with B. Pharm courses have received approval from regulatory bodies such as the Government of Karnataka, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. D. Pharm. is approved by the Board of Examining Authority, Bengaluru. In addition, we are committed to the motto of 'Education for Wholeness,' and we regularly conduct add-on and career-oriented courses to enhance the skills and knowledge of our students, attracting students not only from all corners of our nation but also from abroad. The state-level ranks serve as a testament to the unwavering dedication and remarkable achievements of our students, faculty and staff. To foster academic growth and professional development, we regularly organize state and national-level seminars, workshops, NSS programs and research activities sponsored by esteemed organizations such as RGUHS, VGST, ICMR and APTI. In recognition of these achievements, we were awarded accreditation with A++ grade by NAAC in June 2022. These achievements and credentials position us as one of the premier choices for pharmacy education in our state and across the Nation.

I take immense pride and pleasure in announcing that the management of BLDEA has bestowed upon me the freedom and unwavering support to propel our institute to new heights. I am grateful to Dr. M. B. Patil, the President, Shri G.K. Patil, General Secretary & Treasurer of BLDE Association, the Governing Council, and the Administrators for their unwavering support in all meaningful and productive endeavors undertaken by our institution. Our Governing Council comprises renowned educationalists, entrepreneurs, and academicians who provide invaluable guidance and counsel. We hold their advice in high regard and strive to implement it in all aspects of our operations.

In alignment with the ideals set forth by BLDE Association, we are committed to provide our students with the finest education and constantly endeavor to enhance the quality of our offerings and our efforts will continue to strive for excellence making a lasting impact in the field of pharmacy education and shape the future of our students.
